Money is the ranking

Apps are sorted by lifetime total, highest first. Not downloads, not reviews, not recency, not quality. If two apps sit at the same total, the one that got there first ranks higher.

One dollar gets you onto the board. Moving up is a different matter: to pass someone you have to beat their lifetime total outright, not match it.

Bids stack

Paying again does not replace your previous amount, it adds to it. An app at $12 that pays another $9 sits at $21. Spending never decays and nothing resets at the end of the month.

Everything is final

Positions are not reserved and are not refundable. Anyone can pay more than you five minutes after you take the top spot, and they probably will.

What gets removed

Links that are broken, malicious, or clearly not an app or product get taken off the board. Nothing else is moderated — taste is not a criterion here.

How the money is handled

Payments go through Stripe. Card details are entered on Stripe's own checkout page and never touch this site. The board is rebuilt from completed payments, so what you see on it is exactly what has been paid — there is no separate ledger that can drift from the money.
